Deal or No Deal Presenter Stephen Mulhern Takes Entertainment to Sea
Stephan Mulhern, who has the pleasure of hosting ITV shows such as Deal or No Deal, Catchphrase, and Dancing on Ice, is going to demonstrate his extraordinary talents aboard one of the UK’s most famous cruise liners during the summer. The cruise liner from P&O Cruises fleet called Ionaa, with gross tonnage of 184,089 tons, is going to cruise from Southampton, UK, to the Norwegian Fjords.

Stephen Mulhern will be putting on a brand-new close-up magic show called Stephen Mulhern’s Live & Unbelievable! There will be a mix of tricks, sleight of hand, a little mischief, and lots of audience participation at every show in the Limelight Club.
Before this show, Mulhern worked on other ship projects, but this one is much better. Stephen Mulhern and Jonathan Wilkes made the magic show Unbelievable in April 2024. It was shown on all P&O Cruises ships. The show was staged in the style of Las Vegas by Paul Domaine. In 2026, Mulhern takes it to a whole new level by singing live instead of just on film. You won’t find another apartment like this on a cruise ship.
The Norwegian Fjords will be sailed twice in seven nights each, while a voyage in Spain and France will be held in seven nights, as part of the Iona cruise program during the months of July and August 2026. The first departure is set for July 25, 2026, while the second is planned for August 8, 2026.
The Limelight Club on Deck 6 is a small, adults-only club with very few seats. This means that each performance is more like going to a concert in a small theatre than a big outdoor show. Mulhern can do what he does best in this setting: connect with his audience and deliver the jaw-dropping moments that have made him one of Britain’s most beloved performers.
The presenter of the game show “Deal or No Deal” is set to appear in four out of the seven shows. This strategy ensures that the participants of the week-long cruise get enough opportunity to view the show without it becoming repetitive for them.
Mulhern is making the experience available for families as well as nighttime events. His Unbelievable show magic trick kits will be used to teach magic tricks in an interactive, family-friendly class one day at sea during each trip.
Although classes for children take place during the day, while only adult entertainment takes place during the night hours, it is evident that the programming on board has been thoroughly thought out to cater to passengers of all age groups.
Residence at P&O Cruises in 2026 marks the second time that Mulhern has been associated with P&O Cruises. Indeed, Stephen Mulhern recently stunned P&O cruise passengers when he told them that the name of their new ship is “Iona.”
The planned visit was very thrilling for Mulhern, who stated that he was “so excited to be bringing this new show to Iona for the very first time.” They have always been good partners to work with, and the Limelight Club is an excellent place to make friends. It will be fun to be able to have more than one show and teach families the tricks in groups. I can’t wait to join and do my stuff.
P&O Cruises President Paul Ludlow echoed that excitement, stating that “Stephen is a phenomenal entertainer and a firm favourite with our guests… From evening performances to interactive family workshops, this residency perfectly reflects what P&O Cruises does best — bringing unforgettable experiences on board that appeal to guests of all ages, while offering something genuinely special you can’t find anywhere else.”
P&O Cruises is looking forward to a great summer, and Mulhern’s stay is just one of many great things that are planned. During the summer, Jason Manford’s Comedy Club will sail on the Iona and Arvia. Between May and October 2026, 70 comics, each hand-picked by Manford, will perform 140 shows on 35 different routes to France, Spain, Italy, and the Norwegian Fjords.
Norwegian Fjords’ seven-night cruises on the Iona, which leave on July 4, 2026, start at £829 per person based on two sharing an inside cabin. Arvia’s 14-night cruises to Spain and France, which leave on August 16, 2026, start at £1,229 per person based on the same conditions.
